Im going to be buying a juki ddl8700 is that a good sewing machine? U think u could give a me list of tools and glues I'm gonna need I'm lookin to invest in this heavily. I really admire what u do and really have been wanting to do this for the past yr now that I'm runnin into some $ I have opportunity to invest $ and a lot time into this. I jus need a lil guidance...

In regards to the ddl8700 model, I'm not too sure of how well it will work because I haven't used that particular one before. What I'd recommend is go to a place where you can see the sewing machine in person, and tell the sales rep that you're "specifically looking for a sewing machine that can be used for medium-heavy duty leather. And that you're gonna be using the sewing machine to make shoes." That'll definitely lead you in the right direction towards getting a model that'll work well for you.

What model sewing machine do u use? I'm gonna be buying ur tutorial in a couple weeks and wanna get all the equipment I'm gonna need for this process like the last, glues, etc.... I've done extensive research for this for the past 8months there's not 1 place in Tampa that sells industrial size sewing machines. I've been to sewing facbic stores, shoe repair shops u name it. Ur really the only 1 that's remotely reached out to me. I bought a book by Anthony Boyd he also has a website called Anahge.com. The book is called "How to make custom sewn sneakers". He uses a Jordan 7 which i think Is harder shoe to try to learn on cuz of the inner liner is like boot. I saw the pair u did for Michael Strahan what a awesome job u did. My mom has worked for Derrick Brooks for the past 17/18yrs and got inducted to hall of fame with Michael at the same time 2yrs ago. With the connects I got and the lack of nobody is doing this in my town and there's a demand for it, it jus makes sense for me to try this. I know ur probably busy but I would really appreciate if u could give me about 10/15min of ur time jus to explain what I want to accomplish. Maybe we could team up on some projects.
